Day Camp Information
Registration: 8:30am-9:15am at Denton Cooley Pavilion (DCP) the basketball practice facility connected to the south side of the Frank Erwin Center at 1701 Red River.
Parking: You may park free in lot 108 (entrance off the I-35 feeder road) next to Cooley Pavilion (DCP) during pick up and drop off times only 8:15am – 9:15am to drop off. Any cars left in the lot outside of those time parameters will be subject to fees associated with parking in the lot. There is metered parking on the street or you may pay to park in Trinity Garage. Texas Longhorns Girls Basketball Camps are not responsible for parking citations and cannot waive or pay any parking fees.
Daily Drop Off: Staff is on hand to greet campers from 8:45-9:15am. Pull into lot 108 and drop your camper off at Cooley Pavilion. (Temporary parking only)
Daily Pick Up: Campers are released by 4:00pm every day. You may park temporarily in lot 108 to pick up your camper from 3:15-4:15pm. Please make sure your camper is picked up by 4:00pm each day.
Early Drop Off: Early drop off is available beginning at 7:30 am for an additional cost. Early drop off begins on Tuesday morning.
Late Pick Up: Late pick up is available until 5:30 pm for an additional cost. Late pick up runs Monday through Wednesday.
Lunch: Lunch is provided. Campers are welcome to bring a snack and a labeled water bottle. Water and Gatorade will be provided at each gym site. Please let us know if you require a vegetarian or gluten free selection. You may also choose to bring your own, non-refrigerated lunch from home. Texas Longhorns Girls Basketball Camps does not run a concession stand nor a “bank” for campers’ spending money.
Monday: Pluckers (Chicken strips, chips, fruit)
Tuesday: Hat Creek (hamburger/chicken sandwich, chips, fruit)
Wednesday: Pizza (Pepperoni, cheese, sausage)
Thursday: Jason's Deli (Ham or Turkey Sandwich, chips, fruit)
To Wear: T-shirt, athletic shorts, quality athletic shoes. No jewelry or other valuables. Basketballs are provided; please do not bring your own. Please ensure that all personal items like back packs or gym bags are labeled. MAKE SURE TO WEAR YOUR CAMP T-SHIRT THE LAST DAY OF CAMP!
Itinerary: All activities take place in Denton Cooley Pavilion (DCP). Please be aware that there is no seating available for visitors in the DCP gyms.
Camp End: Closing ceremony begins at 3:30pm the last day of camp. Families are welcome! Parking is free of charge in lot 108 during the closing ceremony (3:15pm-4:30pm)*. Campers depart following the closing ceremony which concludes at 4:15pm. Each participant receives a basketball and possible prizes or awards.
